The North Point Mall redevelopment vision combines an NHL‑ready arena, a music hall and performing arts center, a vibrant public realm, year‑round programming, and a balanced mix of retail, dining, office, hospitality, and housing to create a walkable destination that serves Alpharetta, attracts regional visitors, and delivers sustained economic value for the community.
-
Subject to approvals by the City of Alpharetta, the proposed redevelopment activity is not anticipated for another year, or potentially longer, and would be completed in phases with various components opening on a rolling basis. We anticipate the project could span a decade due to its scale, and a construction start date is to be determined pending the rezoning outcome.

Should the redevelopment be approved, the mall in its current state will no longer exist – although it will not be demolished entirely, and the retail footprint will be nearly equal to today’s makeup.

We understand that the organization is interested in the Atlanta metro for a possible franchise expansion and have aligned our plans to the evolution of sports-anchored districts. We also believe North Point Mall is well located and benefits from built-in demand drivers, such as North Fulton’s tech/office/retail base and convenient access to SR 400.
